Sikaflex®-298 is suitable for bonding roofing materials made of synthetic resins (except polyethylene and polypropylene), and for bonding and sealing teak boards installed on the sub-deck. Suitable for polyester materials (GRP), marine plywood, steel and aluminium with anti-corrosion coating (epoxy and acrylic polyurethane base) and stainless steel.

Description

Sikaflex®-298 is a slightly thixotropic, one-component polyurethane adhesive and sealant that cures under the action of atmospheric moisture to form a highly durable elastomer. Sikaflex®-298 is manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001/14001 quality assurance standard and under an environmental protection programme. It is developed for the marine sector and complies with the regulations laid down by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
