SikaWall®-08 Fijador acts as a fixing coat prior to painting with three key functions:

• Consolidates the substrate — prevents loose particles from being dragged and detaching the paint
• Seals porosity — closes the substrate pores so the finish coat goes on uniformly, without absorbent patches consuming extra product
• Improves adhesion — creates the bonding bridge between substrate and finish coat, ensuring the final coating stays in place

• Cement renders — new or highly porous
• Plaster and plasterboard — highly absorbent surfaces that consume paint without primer
• Lime wash — dusty substrates with low internal cohesion

Application Instructions

SikaWall®-08 Fijador is ready to use. Stir the container before application. Can be applied by brush, roller or spray equipment. The substrate must be dry, sound and free of loose parts. A second coat may be needed on highly absorbent substrates. Only compatible with water-based dispersion paints.
