Sikaflex® -292i is anelastic, thixotropic, one-component polyurethane-based adhesive with a viscous, thixotropic consistency that under the action of atmospheric humidity transforms into an elastomer. Sikaflex®-292i has excellent adhesive properties and a high degree of mechanical strength .Sikaflex®-292i meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) for low flame spread. Sikaflex® -292i is manufactured in accordance with the ISO 9001/14001 quality assurance system and under an environmental protection programme.

  • Sikaflex®-292i is suitable for structural joints in marine construction which are subject to high dynamic stresses. Suitable for metals, particularly aluminium (including anodised finishes), metallic primers, finishing paints (two-component), or ceramic materials, plastics such as GRP (unsaturated polyester resin), ABS, etc. Mineral crystals and transparent plastics must not be bonded with Sikaflex®-292i.
  • This product is intended for experienced professional users only.
  • Tests should be carried out with the original substrates and conditions to ensure adhesion and compatibility of the material.
