DESCRIPTION

Sika® Cleaning Paste HV and LV are specially developed as viscous cleaning agents for pumped extrusion systems. They are used to flush, clean and protect pumping equipment. They are used to flush, clean and protect pumps, hoses, valves and other parts of the distribution system.

Sika® Cleaning Paste HV and LV do not react with adhesives and sealants of the Sikaflex®, Sikasil® or SikaPower® (400 series) range, and their cleaning action is extremely effective. Sika® Cleaning HV and LV are non-abrasive, non-moisture sensitive and stable up to 90o C.

APPLICATION

Indispensable aid for the cleaning of pumping systems and for the protection and maintenance of extrusion equipment components.

Sika® Cleaning Paste HV and LV are effective in removing all traces of uncured adhesive and sealant from the Sikaflex®, Sikasil®, SikaPower® and other Sika® products from extrusion equipment. They are partially effective in removing cured products. These may require mechanical cleaning before they are completely flushed out of the pumping system.

Sika® Cleaning Paste HV and LV are recommended for cleaning and maintenance of the piston pump, high pressure hose, dosing units, application valves and guns, etc., as well as for priming and start-up of pumping systems.

This product is intended for experienced professional users only. Tests should be carried out with the original substrates and conditions to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
