What is Sika® FastFix-130 TP Used For?
Civil Engineering and Maintenance Applications
- Fixing and support of manhole frames — inspection covers, gullies and inspection chambers
- Concrete road repair — potholes, joints and running surfaces with immediate traffic reopening
- Telecommunications box installation and other buried infrastructure
- Street furniture fixing — lamp posts, signs, bollards and urban elements
- Concrete floor slab repair — industrial warehouses, garages and heavy-use floors
- Airport runway light fixing — applications requiring immediate return to service
Technical Characteristics and Advantages
Fast Setting and Hardening
- 2 hours: 28.4 N/mm² — traffic open at +20°C
- 24 hours: 47.5 N/mm²
- 7 days: 63.7 N/mm²
- 28 days: 65.0 N/mm²
Adjustable Consistency for Each Application
- Semi-dry consistency (~2.5 l water per 25 kg) — for support work on manhole covers and street furniture
- Plastic consistency (~3 l water per 25 kg) — for pours and fixings requiring fluidity to fill all voids
Chloride-Free — No Corrosion Risk
Contains no chlorides or other corrosion-promoting admixtures — safe for use in contact with metal reinforcement without long-term electrochemical corrosion risk.
Excellent Pull-Off Resistance
- On concrete: 2.43 N/mm² (concrete substrate failure, not mortar)
- Underwater / asphalt: 2.494 N/mm² (asphalt failure)
Excellent Performance at Low Temperatures
Effective strength gain even at +5°C — can be used on site during winter months without losing fast-setting properties.
