Technical Characteristics and Advantages

Certified Anti-Carbonation Protection

High resistance to CO₂ diffusion with Sd >50 m — dramatically reduces the carbonation rate of concrete, protecting reinforcement long-term. Certified to EN 1504-2:2004 with CE marking, certificate number 0099/CPR/B15/0007.

Waterproofing with Vapour Permeability

Waterproof against rainwater while allowing the substrate to breathe: water vapour permeable Class I (Sd <5 m) — prevents internal condensation and damp.

Class A4 Crack-Bridging

• Class A4 — crack-bridging >1250 µm at +20°C
• Class A3 — crack-bridging >500 µm at -10°C

Excellent Ageing Resistance

No blistering, cracking or flaking after 2000 hours of artificial ageing to EN 1062-11:2003. Resistant to common atmospheric pollutants and cement substrate alkalinity.

Application System

SikaColor®-671 W can be applied by brush, short-pile wool roller or airless spray. Apply second coat perpendicular to the first for optimum coverage.

• Normal conditions: 2 coats of SikaColor®-671 W without primer
• Highly porous substrates: 1 coat diluted 10% water + 2 finish coats
• Marine or de-icing salt environments: 1 coat Sikagard® water repellent + 2 finish coats
